Get Involved in Local Elections and Decision Making

Get involved in local decision making
Would you like to support candidates in the May 2023 local elections...or even stand yourself?
Would you like to know more about local decision making and how to get involved?
The Democratic Network was set up by statistician and market researcher Nigel Jacklin in January 2021 to help people get more involved in local life. Over 1,000 people took part in the first Network Survey, fielded in early 2021. We want to expand this work in the run up to the May 2023 local elections and have published a guide on our website detailing how you can get involved and where elections are taking place. We want to provide people with a choice of candidates to support in their areas and to do further work in the area of consultations and democratic information at a local and national level.
Please help us with this work by making a donation. You can take part in the Network Survey by visiting our website.
