Canon Phil is a priest in the Church of God, standing for righteousness and the rights of women and the unborn. He speaks truth to power, calling out politicians where there is dishonesty, especially in the aftermath of the tragic murders in Southport.
Canon Phil was the minister of St James Church and the trustee of a separate Christian Charity. Both received “a request for further information from the trustees after Canon Phil spoke out bravely after Southport. The videos went viral.
Lawyers checked the videos, verifying that they were “so clean that you could eat your dinner off them.” Although the charity replied that there was no case to answer, the trustees of St. James, however, decided to dismiss him summarily and Deacon Aaron without consultation.
St James has grown by 350% under Canon Phil’s and Deacon Aaron’s leadership, but Canon Phil was locked out of the St James building the following day, so at the request of his parishioners, they decided to find another place to worship. The parish church of St Jude and St James (their online parish) became Church “In the Community”, joining with those that the actions of the Trustees exiled - there is excitement about what will happen.
Canon Phil and Deacon Aaron are both clerks in Holy Orders in the Anglican Church in North America (the ACNA), and Canon Phil is then licensed to the Apostolic Anglican Communion (CEEC.CHURCH), where he serves as the Global Ecumenical Officer.
The Metropolitan of the Province of the CEEC.CHURCH where Canon Phil serves, the Most Reverend Robert Gosselin writes;
“Canon Phil and Deacon Aaron Eime are faithful men of God. I've observed them both for decades. And we know the crisis is never the conclusion - because Jesus reigns.
Faith is TAKING what God has GIVEN you, and that's what the new church at St Jude and St James is doing, with my blessing.
A church building in the locality that would be ideal and that otherwise may be lost to Christendom is empty and available, and we are seeking £260K to purchase and renovate it.
There is no compromise, just righteousness and the opportunity to worship in spirit and in truth, King Jesus, declare His Kingdom and help all those seeking a safe haven.”
Any excess funds will be used for the work of St Jude and St James.
Canon Phil’s Bishop writes;
"I have known Canon Phil (and his wonderful wife Ruth) for years. Now, in this season, Phil+ continues to demonstrate his commitment to fidelity to the Lord Jesus Christ and to His Church is resolute.
Without question, I can tell you that any gift you can give to this new work will be used faithfully to pursue godly, Biblical ministry.”
